We’re Karen Warner RN and Pete Warner, the local owners and operators of Caring Transitions of Guilford and we opened this business because we want to help make your difficult life transition a little easier. We understand the challenges one faces as it relates to downsizing, moving, or aging in place for it can be a difficult and an emotional life experience. The physical challenges and emotional strains of moving can be overwhelming enough, without the added stress of life’s unexpected events. Caring Transitions of Guilford offers a streamlined support system to help facilitate a less stressful transition, taking care of the details so you can take care of yourself or a loved one. From sorting through years of memories, working with estate planners, coordinating movers and real estate agents to designing a functional and comfortable floor plan at your next address, we can help. Caring Transitions’ services are customizable, so you only pay for the services you may need – whether that means managing the entire move and estate-clearing or just getting someone resettled into their new place. We will come in to help create a customized plan that suits your needs and work with you to meet your goals. We will treat you fairly and help you work through your transitions, no matter how large or how small. Our compassionate and experienced professionals can be involved as much or as little as you like. We’ll serve as your family’s advocate, ensuring your best interests are kept in mind throughout the process. Prior to opening Caring Transitions of Guilford, I had a long career as a Registered Nurse working in the ICU before moving to Pharma Sales where I was the Vice President of Market Access. Pete started his career as a high school history teacher, then moved to Pharma sales as a Regional Director, managing over 200 sales reps before retiring. We both knew that we wanted to do something different that would allow us to utilize our varied background in health care and sales and apply our experience and passion to helping people, so owning our own Caring Transitions seemed like a perfect fit.
